Writing Lessons

To become a better writer this year, we’re going to spend a great deal of time on the some mini writing lessons.  Each one of the lessons found below will help focus your ideas, organize your thoughts, add voice to your writing, make your sentences more fluid, and help you choose just the right words.  We’ll complete all these lessons, at your own pace and when we feel your writing needs improvement in that area, as the year goes on.

You may work on these in any order, though they do get more difficult as they move through a topic and some lessons do build upon one another.  Start by reading the “Think About” for each topic, then work your way through the lessons.
